The Room is a SaaS-based MediaTech marketplace that helps brands to most effectively source people of influence to amplify their marketing spend. Our mission is to unlock peoples’ true love for brands. Our clients include O2, Samsung, HelloFresh and MARS, to name just a few. We are at a hugely exciting juncture and are expanding the business rapidly. We are now seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to own and evolve our data warehouse and systems to ensure we are executing our business plan based on data and insights.

The Role

We are looking for a strategic yet hands on content marketeer to help our business elevate our content marketing efforts across our UK and US markets. This is a newly created role to support the Marketing Director and wider team in evolving our content strategy at a fast pace in order to fuel our expansion strategy. Overall, you'll take the lead on developing our content strategy and align the business goals to the content marketing tactics you decide on. Whilst there's an element of strategy we also want you to enjoy writing and creating content our audience loves.

Hybrid working between home and our central London office.


  • Work closely with the marketing director and MD in developing an effective content strategy for the UK and US markets

  • Produce content that resonates with our B2B and B2C audiences driving engagement across all key marketing channels at all stages of the marketing funnel

  • Design effective and engaging content to optimise our search engine performance

  • Create a variety of content for the sales team including; case studies, presentations and sales materials

  • Work closely with social media manager to promote effective content for our social channels

  • Design compelling talk tracks articulating our differentiation for all key marketing channels

  • Ensure content is utilised effectively within our CRM (Salesforce)

  • Demonstrated experience of writing compelling presentations that incorporate "storytelling"

  • Share analytics and data with the team to analyse content marketing performance

Job requirements

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a B2B marketing role

  • Enjoy working at pace with a ‘test’ mindset

  • Comprehensive knowledge working with Salesforce

  • Ability to build a content marketing strategy with hands on execution

  • Content writing/editing experience, e.g. in Journalism, Public Relations, SEO

  • Familiarity with content performance analysis, e.g. with GA

  • You will be able to demonstrate and inbound marketing funnel with a good understanding of SEO
