Talent Retention Manager
A blend of home and office working (at least 1-2 days a week)
The Room is a SaaS-based MediaTech marketplace that helps brands to most effectively source ‘people of influence’ to amplify their marketing spend. We are at a hugely exciting juncture and are set to expand the business rapidly over the coming year.
The Talent Retention Manager will sit within the talent team but also work very closely with the Customer Success team. This position is primarily responsible for the retention of talent, onboarding of new talent, talent agency relationships, opportunity pushing, talent communication and talent data requests as well as general updates for the team.
Collaborate with the Customer Success team and proactively push any opportunities that may need more attention
Provide data insight on talent for the Sales and Customer Success teams
Form relationships with talent directly so that you are the key point of contact
Form relationships with talent agencies, sending opportunities to them as well as them bringing new talent to the platform.
Answer support requests from talent
Onboard new talent and work with marketing to create and update automated workflows
Form strategies on how to grow and maintain the talent base being targeted on login rates, opportunity engagement (bids, messaging) and content completion.
Responsible for making sure influencers turn up to events and how this process can be made easier.
Be the voice for talent and feedback to the product team in order to add features and improve the platform.
Create talent contracts for opportunities or paid events as well as negotiate any rates that may be required.
Co-ordinate and run talent events throughout the year.
To thrive in this role it is essential that you fit the following criteria:
At least 2 years of social media experience.
A strong understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce, and marketing technology.
A strong work ethic and a great ability to prioritise client requests and relationships.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. You keep people engaged and have a strong ability to 'read the room' to know what you should say or show next to clients.
An analytical mind who can dive deep into data, identify patterns, and generate insights for the benefit of our clients.
You're adaptable and thrive in fast-paced environments.
You have a self-starter mentality.
Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
Work hours: up to 40 per week
